Hi I’m Edie (pronounced E-dee)
TV Station Kid. Business Owner. Recovering Videophobe.
I’ve spent most of my life helping other people tell their stories through video. Now I help service entrepreneurs stop overthinking the camera, find a way of showing up that feels natural, and become visible without pretending to be someone they’re not.
Because confidence on camera doesn’t begin with performing.
It begins with taking one manageable step.

Where it Started
Channel 10, St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.
Fresh out of high school, that’s where you’d have found me. The local TV station where I grew up. Over one year I worked every position in the building. Chyron operator. Camera person. Editor. Whatever needed doing, I did it.
And I fell completely in love with television and video production.
College took me to New York and Los Angeles. Work took me through administrative jobs, sales, production assistant gigs, and video producer roles. Then in 2012 I stopped working on everyone else’s vision and opened my own business, Virtually In Sync.
Fourteen years of business ownership later…
Two things have remained the same. My love for video production and video is still the fastest way for a service business to be seen and trusted.
The Part I Don’t Skip
I could produce anyone’s video except my own.
I was a video professional who was terrified of making my own videos. Here’s the thing people rarely expect from someone with my résumé…
For years, I could produce anyone’s video except my own. Behind the camera, I was completely confident. In front of it, I recorded, watched, deleted—and started over again.
I call myself a recovering videophobe because that is the honest version of the story. What helped me move forward wasn’t suddenly becoming fearless or turning into a different person. I learned to climb one small rung at a time, exactly as scared as I was.
That climb became the Visibility Ladder, the framework I now use to help my clients take their next step toward confident visibility.

I still understand fear, imposter syndrome, and perfectionism. They just don’t get to make my decisions anymore. And today, AI can simplify much of the scripting, planning, editing, and production work. That leaves you free to bring the one thing technology cannot replace –
Start messy. Show up scared. Keep climbing.
Why I Do This Work
You do not need to become louder, more polished, or more extroverted to use video effectively.
You need an approach that fits who you are.
I help service entrepreneurs identify the kind of video they can realistically create now—not six months from now, after they have bought more equipment, rewritten the script twelve times, or finally feel “ready.”
Together, we make visibility feel less like a performance and more like a conversation.
When the Camera’s Off
A few things you’d learn about me over coffee
A TV kid never completely logs off.
Genealogy is my favorite rabbit hole.
Some of my best ideas arrive while the timer is running.
You don’t need more confidence before you begin.
You only need the right first step. Find your current rung and discover the video style that fits you now.
